Three Rockets were fired from Lebanon towards Israel
Three rockets were reportedly fired by unidentified parties from Lebanon towards Israel and crashed into the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday (13/5) local time.

"Some time ago, three rockets were fired from Lebanon into the Mediterranean Sea, off the coast of Galilee," the Israeli army statement was quoted as saying by AFP.

Considering the rocket fire to be harmless, the Israeli military did not sound a warning siren.

A Lebanese security source told Reuters that the rocket was fired from the Qlaileh area, in southern Lebanon.

Witnesses in the city of Haifa, Israel, also claimed to have heard the sound of three explosions before learning that a rocket was fired.

Until now, no party has yet claimed to be the mastermind behind the rocket fire.

In southern Lebanon itself is the headquarters of Hezbollah, the group that fought with Israel in 2006.  However, Hezbollah claims that they were not the ones who fired the rockets.

Seeing the insignificant impact, this rocket fire is considered not to complicate the situation in Israel.

Currently, Israel is attacking each other with groups in the Gaza Strip, especially one of the Palestinian factions, Hamas.

Since the beginning of this week, Israel has been pounding the Gaza Strip in response to a series of rocket attacks by Hamas.
