Meanwhile, the other 3 suspects, namely IPW (48), a resident of Buleleng Regency, Bali, AW (33), a resident of Wongsorejo, and CS (66), a resident of Depok City, West Java, had roles as suppliers and distributors.

"So the three suspects resold the senpi bought from the NM suspect. These have been spread across 10 districts and 2 provinces," said Arman to detikcom, Saturday (10/4/2021).

Apparently, the assembled senpi made by the NM suspect has a lot of interest, because the price is much cheaper than the original firearm.

"For a modified weapon type M16, the suspect is valued at Rp. 16 million. Meanwhile, for the modification of the short barrel (pistol), the suspect is valued at Rp. 9 million," said Arman.

The illegal senpi of this home industry product is quite deadly. The senpi can be used to launch sharp ammunition of 7.62 mm caliber to cis caliber 22 mm ammunition like firearms owned by the military.

"This is very deadly," said Arman.

In the disclosure of this case, the police also managed to secure evidence, including one modified M16 gun, one Lee-Enfield (LE) modified rifle, one M16 Singgle modif unit, M16 Magazine, and SS1 Magazine.

In addition, there are also hundreds of ammunition, including 53 cis ammunition with 22 mm caliber, 40 7.62 mm caliber sharp ammunition, 8 7.62 mm caliber ammunition, 59 9 mm caliber ammunition, 179 5.56 mm caliber rounds and 20 ammunition. caliber 7.62 mm US Carbine 30x30.

The four suspects charged under Article 1 paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951. "The threat of punishment, life imprisonment to death," concluded the Banyuwangi Police Chief.
